There’s a special place in Hell… We should give Texas back to Mexico, if they’d take it.

Oh Lordy, Fitz, don't give them any more ideas! (wink wink) Remember, Abbot considers "1984" and "The Handmaid's Tale" how-to manuals, not fiction.

Fitz, you don't give enough credit to Governor Wheels and his unholy trinity, after all it took him less time to send 10,000 of them illegals over 3,000 miles than it did to send 26 fully armed and shielded Texas Rangers 75 feet down a school hallway. Could it be that the illegals and kids all seemed to have the same sounding last names?

Points well made. These "leaders" are tyrants. Can't wait to leave this state.

So Operation Crassus calls for screws thru flesh and metal, secured by nuts? I guess the screwed up nuts "governing" the once great state of Texas couldn't bear to be separated (and upstaged by bolts and nuts).

Holy Shit! I wasn't expecting ths! Horrible even to contemplate but sadly also seems within the possible ideas that Texas & Governor Abbott could come up with. They are pretty damn close to crucifying the border crossers already with their razor wire and giant "beach balls" in the river. So much for Christian compassion.

Just remember, back in the 1960’s Senator Barry Goldwater set the stage for this type of politics now. “Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice.” Totally ignoring the effects of extremism on freedom, liberty and society….

RyoncThe ideas are not new. The lack of standards and social controls is not. The lack of candidates with other ideas (no matter how embryonic) is also new.

I Hope we get to 2033 to see the reality.
