I agree, democracy is on the ballot and the best way to preserve our democracy is to support and vote for Joe Biden.

Voting for Kirsten Engel, who is running against Juan Ciscomani to represent District 6 in the U.S. House of Representatives, is, also, very important. Trump would be nothing without the enabling and endorsements from Senators and Representatives like Ciscomani.

Well said, you brilliant, passionate, wild and crazy guy. My dread turns to hope and certainty after the amazing SOTU. And of course, the increasingly deranged statements coming out of that stupid mouth, cements the possibility that our Joe will be victorious in November. It also must be mentioned, there are still his legal and criminal issues, and now the serious financial troubles that he and his maggots are facing.

It’s all so deliciously satisfying to contemplate .

Also - vote for Ruben Gallego for Senator so we can take back the Senate too!

Thank you Fitz. Complacency is the enemy of democracy. We are in a fight to save our democracy and it scares the hell out of me of what our future will be after Nov. 5.

I am volunteering 3-4 hours a day recruiting volunteers to activate and motivate Democrats and Independents to support democrats and vote.

Thanks for lighting a fire under Dems. I just learned about something that also makes me hopeful: a group called Republican Voters Against Trump. They just launched a $50 million campaign to beat tRump in swing states. https://rvat.org/new-50-million-campaign-showcases-former-trump-voters-refusing-to-support-him-again/

David, were you a cheerleader for your high school football team?

Sending you a virtual poppy. Janice

WOW! Thank you, Fitz! Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking for a long time - Democrats need to stop whining and get out there and start singing Joe’s praises instead of agreeing with the MAGA that he’s “too old”.

This is plagiarized too: Well spoken (written.) I am suddenly all "allusionarily uplifted." Trumpkins should beware, or better yet not beware! I hold this truth to be self-evident: There is no vaccine for stupid. So we must do what we can, give money and effort until it hurts, and overcome stupid and send it back to school where it can be offered truth while sitting in plastic and metal desks of various colors...

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! It's probably time to censor me....because...that's just what you do.

Expand full comment

Sir, What do you even mean? Your comment makes no sense. Are you saying Dave censors you??

Expand full comment

Well....isn't that just what Progressives do?? Facebook....Google....Yahoo....all take their lead from The Progressive socio left and have censored my opinions , not because they were foul mouthed or untrue, just a different perspective. Take for example how the media took Trumps opinion that there would be an ECONOMIC blood bath if he were not elected and ALL the leftist media took it out of context and said he advocated violence. Stop being so naïve to suggest this doesn't happen. I just assumed someone as biased as this article, would do the same.

Truer words were never better spoken. Or written. Or read for that matter.

But we still need a pithy campaign slogan to elevate the battle for Biden. To drive home the message.

Could you work on that?

Thank you, I concur per usual! USA, USA, USA!

If you lie down yourself, it’s lie, lay, (have) lain. But you said “being”, implying others would lay you to rest. So it is lay, laid, (have) laid. Isn’t this fun!

I love this grammar nut, just doing a thankless job. Is it Douglas or Ana Marie putting in the work?

Disappointed to hear you talk about stupid protest votes. There is a primary because there is ( supposed to be) a choice. Your a better satirist than to think that when our choices in the general are between a fascist murderer and a nice guy marcus welby murderer we should vote for either of them in the “primary” ( or ppe here in az). Getting tired of geezers in my own age group’s drumbeat that lesser of two evils is a guy who happily has shipped weapons to kill 30,000 people with and we should just ignore that because of the other guy. A vote for Williamson is a vote for Ceasefire on Tuesday!

No vote for Williamson is going to bring about a ceasefire on Tuesday.

Nope but i refuse to agree that nothing can and i sure hope it sends a message to Biden.Hope you or any of the rest of the detractor were as naysaying about vietnam war protesters because if you were on the front lines then but can accept genocide now let me tell you you have lost your humanity in between. Even OUR all- important democracy may not be worth the lives of tens of thousands of Palestinians to some.

Ah, who has never bothered to learn about binding international treaty contracts or read about ongoing diplomatic endeavors? Scream about arms going to Israel that were contracts signed and sealed under the Orange Moron's admin. But nothing about the constant diplomatic efforts (how many times now has Blinken gone to the area now?) to get a ceasefire in place. Btw, wasn't Jared supposed to have fixed ALL the problems in the Middle East?

Go ahead and vote the way you want while you still can. Make your protest vote now because if the GQP gets their way, this will, indeed, be that last time you will be free to vote your conscience. Maybe get rid of the stupidity loving MAGAs in Congress (looking at Ciscomani) and our STATE LEGISLATURE who waste all our time and money on Cyber Ninja audits and throw millions down the drain on non-accountable school vouchers that are bankrupting our state. Try to maybe consider that there are more national issues in play than just one, like maybe bodily autonomy rights, breaking up mega corporations in bed with the Saudis (hello again, Jared), and making billionaires pay taxes.
