I think we should agree to stop using the term "pro-life" to refer to anti-abortion fanatics. They are pro-birth, definitely not pro-life. Pro-birthers deny any responsibility for the actual lives of mothers and their forced-birth children no matter how egregious their circumstances may be. This is all about controlling women's lives, not about making the world a better place.

Well done, as always. Isn’t it pathetic that the MAGALOONS have rendered the expression, “You can’t make this stuff up!” virtually redundant every time they say or do anything.

Great piece Dave! Thank You.

I thought this would be an easy one, since Gov Lake and Pres Trump support the repeal of the AZ 1864 Abortion ban, BUT NO!!! And to think that that same territorial legislature set the age of consent at 10 yrs old… Why I got so riled up I sent e-mails to my esteemed LD-17 legislators asking them for their support to repeal the 1864 law. Think I’ll get a response?

Funny Fitz! Seeing how many wingnuts are running for office in AZ scares me. AZ is a wonderful state, and I was sorry to leave.

Excellent portrayal! I would certainly add rep. Lupe Diaz of Benson to that group… and probably Rep. Gail Griffin of Hereford and Sen David Gowan of Mark Finchem’s butt.

Absolutely! Those Cochise Clownty magasoids should be in 72-point brown font. Being gerrymandered into this district from Hades has been infuriating. Watching that lying lackey-in-a-cheap-suit, Criscomoney, remove his mask is like watching another Scream movie.

Perhaps the Bolick family

Should be voted out of office and

Justice Bolick dismissed by the voters

Thank you David for your courage & keen mind and integrity

I'm no genius, but how can this be a law that is enforced from 1864 when Arizona didn't become a state until 1912 - 48 years later?

Because it was codified after AZ became a state.

...and women didn't even have the vote then, not until 1920... shaking my head (in disgust and dismay).
