This might be a little too close to being a true story. Gave me chicken skin!

I used to read Tim Stellar when I lived in Tucson, had him speak before an audience of writers. He's great and I miss his columns.

This is right up there with "Best of Fitz!" Fair tribute to Tim Steller and terrific satirical illustration of the danger he identified. In today's NYT, Maureen Dowd writes about political cartoonists and satirists as the great dangers they are to dictators and autocracy. Hope she sees this. Maureen would love it!

Quite a complement to Tim Steller to be compared to Mike Royko crossed with Fareed Zakaria with a dash of Molly Ivins. RIP Mike Royko and Molly Ivins, two of the best newspaper columnists ever.
