Just saw a video on X - I don't subscribe to that; it was on my Yahoo news feed - that compared Trump to Jesus. It said that God looked down on the world and sent us Trump. It looked like a satire to me, but then I'm not a believer. I just don't get it!
I guess it depends on whether the writer is a Trumpie or not - if yes, then they meant it. If not, then you could say God looked down on how awful the world is getting and inflicted Trump on us as punishment.
