What we like best about "the new Fitz" (on Substack) is that we're now able to see the real, unleashed Fitz. You're doing your best work -- honest and unfiltered. Thank you!

There is no better way to satirize politics (or anything) than a good cartoon!

Superb! It must have been so hard for you to keep yourself leashed while publishing. Too bad for the editors. Welcome to freedom!

Looked at all the cartoons. I laughed hysterically.. The political world has not evolved much since the beginning of mankind. Have you ever read the original unedited Thousand and One Nights? I did as an 8 year old when my parents rented a house in Sweden from a doctor who was on sabbatical. This man collected erotica and in his library was a leather bound and beautifully illustrated collection of those tales. I don’t think that Szaherezade entertained her king nightly by telling those cleaned up versions we read to children today. And yes, my wonderful and well educated parents knew I read these books. I do not think they corrupted me in any way. I admire you for opening up your inner self to all of us. Though it does conjure up a picture in my brain of a bunch of cartoonists sitting at a table challenging each other as to who could come up with the most outrageous cartoon…. A bit like a bunch of teenage boys exchanging jokes…or, as that old quote says about politicians “plotters in a smoke filled room”. LOL …….. Keep it up and keep tickling my funny bone.

This was the straw that broke the camel's back. Yeah, I broke down and upgraded to a paid subscription. Finally, I get to see the good stuff!!! Keep on being the voice of dissent. My tender eyes do not require shielding from profanity nor explicit content when its purpose is to hammer home (sorry about that allusion) a fact.

Ahhh, geez - I've been trying desperately hard to NOT think about that and now I'll never be able to un-see it. So, thanks for that, Fitz. No, seriously ... thanks! ;D ;D ;D
