U of A President Robbins is creating a new faculty leadership group that will share governance.
Whatever that means. Sounds Marxist to me. The advisors serving on this council will be drawn from faculty, staff and students. And they must be willing to share. I guess.
Here are my 23 suggestions for what to call this important group which will guide the governance of the advising of the policing of the watching over of the University of Arizona, a state institution that can prescisely grab a scoop of asteroid dust off an asteroid 200,000,000-miles away but can’t count paper money across a campus.

Fitz, you are a super smart and insightful person. What are your recommendations for cleaning things up at this land grant college whose founding purpose was and is to serve its community, not to gobble up the community, charge enormous tuition, or suffer from an ongoing edifice complex.
Good list ! I offer an additional perspective from my point of view. It seems that the leadership of U of A , plus the Board of Regents assisting, have developed a multi-million dollar team that is successful IF you measure their success by the 100s of millions they have lost.
