enough or just plain weird enough to sign up for a regular dose of your screeds. What's really unfortunate though is that there are so many of our fellow humans and travelers on this planet that seem immune to facts. The truth could slap them in the face, knee them in the groin and set their house on fire and they would pay no mind. Consider that, according to numerous and independent polls, a significant majority of Republicans and Republican leaning independents still maintain that the former President won the 2020 election. Consider the "compromise" legislation recently signed into law that forbids the extension of Phoenix light rail system to the State Capitol, that in fact prohibits Maricopa County from using its special taxing authority to fund any improvements in the light rail system (because tax money is better spent on anything that encourages more driving and more spewing of CO2 and more profits for fossil fuel companies).
Read "The Water Knife" by Paolo Bacigalupi. It's an apocalyptic tale about what is likely to befall use when our water needs (not wants) far exceed the supply. We can escape the heat but we can't survive without water. Read it..and be scared. We should be.
