Here in Tucson, for ONE time period of the calendar year, we endure the heat and thank the gods that we're not in Phoenix ... "up there" on the map, "down there" in elevation. We do so !n order to enjoy the best weather on the planet for the other months! I grew up in NJ humidity, lived with impossible snow in NYS, and escaped to Tucson in 1971. While I may be a "Semi-Native," I'm a die-hard booster of our high desert, 'The Old Pueblo,' and Indian fry bread! Get a grip, people ... October will happen again!
