Some are still saying say Joe just had a bad day. He just had a bad day. To which I say Pearl Harbor proves one thing. All it takes is one bad day.
“Some people have bad days.” Is that the winning campaign slogan? Thanks for the heads up, team. “Listen up, especailly all of our threats, both foreign and domestic, only mess with us when our man Biden’s having a really good day.
Some pundits are using the analogy of that time in a family’s life when it’s time to take away grandpa’s car keys.
Joe is not going to give up the keys. Hell, no. When asked about 2024 he more or less said if I drive it off a cliff so be it. “I gave it my best shot. And I beat Medicare.”
When Chuck Schumer was asked about taking away the car keys he said, “I’m with Joe.”
Clyburn said, “ We’re riding with Biden.”
Pelosi said, “I’m fully behind him until he’s not our nominee and then I’m jumping out of this moving car because I am not going over the cliff with Schumer and Clyburn."
If you’re “ridin’ with Biden what are the odds he’ll be messing with the radio looking for a newscast that’s fair, braking way too late and forgetting what street he’s on. You say you’re behind Biden 100% but one hand is on the door handle. The other is on your seat belt buckle. And you’re texting your friends to find out who their favorite candidates might be.
Biden could be behind the wheel of the country and he could fall asleep waiting for the light to turn green and Mexico would have to honk to wake him up and he’d probably panic and shift into reverse and floor it into France. His reaction time is not what it was when he was a young Senator Biden racing his Corvette around a track. These days I wouldn’t let him drive a Walmart shopping scooter around a track without a helmet.
Joe handled a Press Conference like an 80-year old man having a good day. Well, then, give him the keys to America. The ones with the presidential seal on the key chain. Be in by 8, Joe. Yes sir, you’re still in charge, Joe. You really should not drive after dark, Joe. And you shouldn’t drive when it’s your usual nap time because drowsy drivers end up taking the deep sleep. Go ahead, take the wheel, Joe. What’s the worst that can happen when someone has a bad day and falls asleep for an instant at the wheel of a great and powerful nation?
Kamala Harris, is a young American leader. The story of her immigrant family’s remarkable achievements are an inspiration in these times of cynicism. She’s a ruthless prosecutor for progressive causes. She is qualified to lead this nation.
I would have supported Joe (I'm older than he is and still running my company) but the Dems undercut him so badly that there's no hope for his candidacy. What Dem nitwit strategist agreed to a debate with no upside and a huge downside. Why give a felon visibility and credibility-just say "NO". Why take the risk that Joe would have a bad day? Idiots! Now they better get their act together quickly and in 100% agreement-no public bickering.
Joe Biden saved our democracy by winning the the 2020 election and defeating an incumbent who repeatedly demonstrated their disdain for democracy.
George Washington is perhaps best known for knowing when to pass the torch. By passing the torch Washington demonstrated faith in democracy.
I agree with you David, Vice President Kamala Harris is, for many reasons, the best and the right person to carry the torch of democracy and become the next president of the United States.
For what it's worth, even though I disagree with him on several issues, Senator Mark Kelly just might be her best choice for a running mate.
Joe Biden will go down in history as a hero for defeating an incumbent authoritarian president.
