Touching and brilliant. Have no other words today......and I've read the piece several times already.

At my wake I want you to play "It's a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.

Egad! You are not old! I saw you last night at the Saddlebrook dinner and you had more energy that all of us put together. So don’t even think about checking out of this world. Like you, I had a near death experience. What a motivator that is. It’s a real but kicker or a restart button. So as you pivot towards something else, whatever you do will be wonderful. I am a fan.👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻😘🤓

Dear Fitz, You're totally and completely "out of your mind," Thank God! I love it! "Never, never change!" Anytime you need support, tell someone that you KNOW someone who IS "old" ... Me!

Bagpipes and Mariachi. Who but Fitz could have come up with such a thing? I did the search and here's what I found: https://irishiweremexican.com/irish-i-were-mexican/mixing-mariachis-bagpipes. To think I've wasted all my life without this combination.

As your daughter reading this .... in the midst of parenting three kids, working full time, and trying not to raise them to be assholes .... your post gives me hope that once I get through this "stage" there will be rest! Love you, dad. :)
