I just can’t tell you how much time I spend recycling letters from Presidents, senators, and Congress people all over the country! It’s only secondary to the time I spend deleting emails from politicians. However, I still plan to donate to Democrats, who I support! i’m trying to figure out, gets their people out to canvass, And I’d like to avoid the big packs
Joe still writes letters. I got a "Dear John" from him in the mail yesterday, asking for a contribution to the Democratic National Committee. The P.S is worth quoting in part: "We need every American who loves this country to step up and help Democrats win. If we do that , we going to be able to say something few generations will be able to: We saved democracy and beat back Republican attacks....... Please give today and let's finish the job together!"
I've gotten pretty good at ignoring the almost daily fund-raising appeal from this or that committee or candidate or officeholder and I'm not going to contribute to the DNC; my contribution would be less than a drop in a mighty big bucket. However, I do believe the PS is accurate in stating what's at risk and I will make my contributions where they might have some impact, i.e. directly in congressional and state and local races.
Thus, it's "de ja vu" all over again. 'Must be something in the water at this time of year, at least, every FOUR yeas. Right? (I'm "another" Elaine here.)
Ha! Loved it. Hey, since we're best friends, how about a donation?
Hilarious! So appropriate for these times.

You’re not suggesting that Joe writes emails to everyone every day… Are you?
Right on!
