This year I'm going for tofu as I've had enough of turkeys (in more ways than one)! Happy Thanksgiving everyone as I am sure we still all have lots to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving Fitz! A few of the things I'm thankful for as an American are as follows: I can go to the church of my choice or cross the street to the Mosque or down the street to the Synagogue or even just go to the park and talk to my personal God. I'm thankful for my years wearing the uniform of my country which is now hangs in the closet proudly garnished with a 'good conduct ribbon' and not the purple heart that so many of my comrades merited. I'm thankful for the beautiful girl I married sixty years sitting at the other end of the table and the three great sons she so tirelessly raised. I'm thankful for my dearly departed parents that had the courage to endure those most hated 'coffin ships' that left their beloved country to come to our beautiful country and provide a life of prosperity for and my sips and I. I'm thankful for once again having the opportunity to cast my vote for my choice and that others regardless of their gender, skin color, religion or life style can be privileged to do the same and that we may all look forward to being able to do the same for generations to come.
