I did not expect to have my eyes watering watching the JOY in those videos this morning, Fitz -- thank you! Name the date for those sign waving events -- just not on Sunday, October 20 because that's the Marking Strides Against Cancer Walk down at Rita Ranch. Your awesome neighbor buddy David is my team's Co-Captain; so not only am I walking for our dear friend who recently passed from the same type of breast cancer I had, I have to be a total smartass loudmouth (not a stretch, I know) to make up for him while he sits on his ass recovering from his recent... misadventure.

Anyway, thanks for sharing, so keep on truckin' and LET'S DO THIS! Vote a total blue ballot on BOTH SIDES of BOTH PAGES, kids! And don't forget to get rid of Clint Bolick and Kathryn Hackett King, the AZ Superior Court judges who think women should just die like they did in 1864.

Those of us in the peanut gallery (school cafeteria overflow) watched with envy, all the happenings in the gym. Walz was better than I had hoped and so far I have spoken to at least 10 people and plan on many, many more!!!

Oh I hope we win! Thank you for your wonderful, hopeful column. You keep us all encouraged and willing to work for victory. And down ballot, too! We need to House and the Senate, as well as the Oval office. Salud!

My God . . . Thank you from deep in my soul for sharing your experience at this campaign event with Tim Walz. With great sadness, I had to cancel my reservation (see tears dropping on the keys of my computer). At my age, 84, standing and waiting and then sitting and waiting, even dancing and waiting would have been WAY TOO MUCH for this body. For a while I thought that all the years of working and believing that I could make a difference had died with a packed Supreme Court and an Anti-Christ (quoting from theologian Matthew Fox's recent book) running for the office of President of the United States of America.

Hope was not gone. I have felt like giving up too often. Your writing skills continue to encourage me. Please never stop.

Wish I could have been there, but I (halo being adjusted) was canvassing my neighborhood for GOTV. Seriously, thanks for sharing the energy and excitement so well. It motivates all of us!
