The MAGA Republican party is undermining support for Ukraine's war because that is what they do. If you are the victim of a bully, it is the authoritarian’s knee-jerk response to side with the bully because authoritarians are cruel by nature whether it means separating children from their migrant parents or forcing women to carry a dead fetus in their womb even if it might kill them. So of course Speaker of the House Louisiana’s swamp Reverend Mike Johnson and the Freedom from Reason Caucus of the Caucasians would gleefully offer treasonous political comfort and support to the bloated, corrupt criminal, barbaric invader of a smaller courageous scrappy sovereign democratic nation. And before leaving for the Christmas celebration of their Lord and Saviors, Jesus Evangelical Christ, Donald Hitler Redux Trump, and His best bud Vladimir Putin.

They argue supporting Ukraine’s right to self defense is not in our best interest. What the Hell? Is the world upside down? What is their argument? They argue we should focus on domestic issues here at home.

How about focusing on a domestic issue like abortion? Hell, no. That issue has justifiably enraged every handmaiden west of Gilead and will cost the right Bible beaters votes in every shire and valley come 2024. These knuckle dragging Disciples of the Divine Mar-a-lago Messiah aren’t quite as dumb as they appear.

No, when they say we should focus on domestic issues here at home they are talking about immigration. Hell, yes, that’s issue that offers the natural born racists on the right just the right scapegoats.

The sentient majorities in both the house and senate want to give aid, support and succor to Ukraine for a number of logical reasons I am happy to enumerate for those incapable of informed reason.

Number one. This will protect every North Atlantic Treaty Organization nation by sending a message tipped with ordinance. NATO is Europe’s democratic bulwark against the fascists massaging blitzkrieg dreams. The nations we refer to as allies. Bullies cower when confronted by allies.

Number two. Giving military aid to Ukraine will provide jobs for Americans working in our defense industries.

Three. This spending has been an effective investment. Ukraine’s brave patriot warriors have stalled and humiliated the Old World’s Number One fascist thug Vladimir Putin who’s running out of boys and old cannon fodder to sacrifice and balconies to push dissidents off of.

Ukraine has regained half the land Russia seized. Because armies of slaves cannot defeat free men. Curious how that is lost on the slavish theologians of the not so deep southern wing of Trump’s Second Reich.

The MAGA Republicans say they only want the Biden team to cave on their immigration demands. Bullshit. Who is gullible enough to believe those lying treasonous MAGA stooges of Moscow want to strike a deal exchanging funding for Ukraine for sealing the border tighter than Jack Smith’s case against their felonious insurrectionist mob boss?

I suspect the worst of these seditious sows and swine, their snouts rooting and snuffling through a steady diet of Murdoch MAGA feed, wallowing in FOX swill , anti-Semitic slop, gobbling a daily toxic mix of hate fueled hoaxes, Infowars whoppers and Moscow grown mendacities, their troughs of untruths overflowing with conspiracy-based silage.

Such pigheaded policy breakers bathe in the muddy lies that reassure their piggish palates informed by their prejudices, fixated on the fact that Zelensky is, gasp, a Jew and Ukraine is corrupt, according to Moscow’s agitprop pushers, and let us not forget the infinite Hunter Biden Burisma teat gnawed raw by Trump, the supreme truffle snorting sow who defames, libels, and slanders the brave Ukrainian freedom fighters standing up to Putin, the Cossack of catastrophe, as readily as he smears his rape accusers. Congress’ mob of Christian Nationalist lunatics want only chaos because chaos is the seedbed where strongmen rise.

Germany’s depression and political chaos gave rise to Hitler.

Cambodia’s collapse gave rise to Pol Pot.

Russian corruption and losses from the first World War provided the blood soil for Lenin and Stalin.

Too bad Biden’s economy is recovering just fine. They’ll have to screw that up.

Steve Bannon’s MAGA revolutionaries do not want a deal because they know they belong to a small minority who can never hold power unless it is through illegitimate anti-democratic means. They are experts at voter suppression, gerrymandering and locking down safe districts. They love keeping the chaotic border chaotic because it is part of their larger scheme to replace our democracy with their Biblical brand of barbaric feel good fascism.

They want anything but abortion to be on the minds of most voters in 2024. And immigration, with it’s ready made villains, ideal for America’s millions of closeted white supremacists, suits that bill. This is why Trump uses Hitler’s language to describe “them” as vermin and pays no political price for such repugnant and vile incendiary speech.

Ukraine is where Putin is challenging the United States for domination of the world and much like America’s Nazi sympathizers of the thirties today’s MAGA Christian Republicans view Putin as a fellow Christian strong man, an anti-homosexual, anti-diversity, anti-Semitic zealot, like Hungary’s despicable Victor Orban, another sow beloved by FOX, who America’s fringe right views as preferable to our pro-democracy pro-diversity secular leaders.

It is clear these thuggish theocrats are little more than chaos agents for their Donald John Christ, gleefully treasonous, blindly treacherous dolts with no interest in governance. We who love the ideals of this nation must band together and swear eternal vigilance against the tyranny they represent. We who love diversity and cherish our secular democracy must engage the treasonous enemies of our Constitutional republic in every district, ward and county board, city hall and state legislature in our beloved union, with the heart and zeal of the noble and heroic Ukrainian people or we shall surely lose it to the axis of authoritarianism.
