Thank you for this grim reminder. I was born in Poland during WWII, Though not of the Jewish faith my family lost everything. My father owned a factory and car dealership. The Nazis took his business over, accused him of sabotage and took us to a camp. But thanks to a factory owner in Germany whom my father did business with, we were released because this man decided to help. This man who was a Nazi, saved our lives. In turn when this friend ended up at the Nuremberg trials my fathers testimony saved him. This is just a small segment of many untold stories and millions of lost lives. I wish that history will not repeat itself. either here or anywhere else. Sadly this has not been the case throughout the history of mankind. Ancient monuments were destroyed, history has been rewritten, etc etc. And as the planet grows more crowded, it gets worse and more tragic. Perhaps we will become extinct from due to our own actions.

Thank you I suppose for the reference as it is most distressing and often times as I read the news I feel helpless. The situation for the university’s and law firms only seem to get worse and I am grateful the Harvard is standing their ground and hope they continue to do so. Many years ago I had the privilege to hear Peter Drucker give a lecture at Wayne State University in Detroit on volunteerism. He was amazing!
