Only ‘factual’ flaw I spotted was the number of things circling the earth when you were born… Unless you’re far older than you look, I suspect the moon was already there…

Great column! The (almost) sainted Kino died in 1711, he arrived at Bac in 1692, founding San Xavier del Bac then. In 1694 he made it further north to Cuk Son and established San Cosme.

You are correct. As wonderful friend of mine, Ocotillo Tom, who offers tour at San Xavier, pointed out my error to me this early morning. I appreciate my friends who are happy to be my post-publication editors. He made me laugh when he asked me if my errant source was Makeshitupapedia.com and then I stopped laughing when I thought that's a domain name worth owning.

Thanks, fits. This is totally fun to read. Very clever, and a wonderful diversion from other realities – and, quite frankly – a bit of two sons history, which I totally loved.

You are of course, the best!

My guess is you were seeing either Dr. Dante, hypnotist and former husband of Lana Turner or Sterno and the Flames at Pirates Den in 1973. I was there, underage, drinking and living the cocktail lounge life...

Ok I’m on vacation and late reading this but why won’t it let me like anything past Richard Rose’s response?
